Living with an untreated bipolar family member can be devastating; one moment everything is fine, and the next moment nothing is right. I tried to envision what a bipolar bicycle would be like to ride. It is a bike that can’t be steered, has too many gears to shift, too few levers to operate all four brakes, and the two cranks are too far apart to ride comfortably.
